There is no doubt that Alpha Blondy and The Wailers has talent. This album has some very good songs like Jerusalem and Politiqui. Lead single “Jerusalem” and “Politiqui” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Such great and happy songs.
Politiqui - I just love it. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. I Love Paris is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Kalachnikov Love is absolutely incredible. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Travailler C Est Trop Dur. Miwa is almost impossible to review. Boulevard De La Mort is cool work of Alpha Blondy and The Wailers. DJI is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
