It has been thirteen years Anathema’ last studio CD, “The Crestfallen” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Anathema had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is the first studio album from Anathema since bad diagnosis in 1992. The Crestfallen touched my soul like nothing else.
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Everwake pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Crestfallen still maintains something of a specific flourish. This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
