This disc has all of the essential Banco De Gaia classics. Banco De Gaia’s debut, ‘Freeform Flutes and Fading Tibetans’, does not fit easily into one genre. Banco De Gaia was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Banco De Gaia and Freeform Flutes and Fading Tibetans together. This album is in perfect progression from Banco De Gaia!
First time I heard Lai Lah was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.I’ve found myself listening to Soufie back to back and back many times. Alpha (Waves All In My Brain) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Therapy is the albums biggest surprise. Nice and different song. In Theta it becomes nowhere more obvious that Banco De Gaia has yet to define own style. Darkside still maintains something of a specific flourish. Eternal Recurrence is outstanding work of Banco De Gaia.
