It’s natural for Barry White to take a stab at ‘Let’s Get Busy’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. This album has some very good songs like Let’s Get Busy and Love Is Good With You. five years ago, Barry White briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Love Is Good With You”. Another great offering from Barry White.
Love Is Good With You (6:10) a good melody. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Break It Down With You is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I’ve found myself listening to Put Me In Your Mix back to back and back many times. I have all of Barry White’s tracks and Who You Giving Your Love To is probably the most his introspective effort. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. We’re Gonna Have It All has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Barry White’s strong vocals come to the fore. Best song on the album, love it. Simple and heartfelt closing track Sho’ You Right [Remix] closes Put Me In Your Mix on a high note.
