Ain’T Nobody Home is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from B.B.King since bad diagnosis in 1991. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by B.B.King. This album is a scorcher!
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Ain’T Nobody Home couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Paying The Cost To Be The Boss. I was truly moved when I heard Nightlife/Please Send Me Someone To Love. Please Love Me - arguably the best track on Ain’T Nobody Home album. Sweet Little Angel (Live) one of the best in my collection. Don’t Answer The Door has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Some of the arrangements found on Ain’T Nobody Home are surprisingly edgy. Why I Sing The Blues is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This track is a great song that still never gets old. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Sweet Sixteen (Live) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on B.B.King’s face. I like to sing along with Inflation Blues, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. B.B.King is hitting on all cylinders in The Thrill Is Gone. Ain’t Nobody Home is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The song Everyday I Have The Blues (Live) ending is my favorite… so catchy!
