B.B.King had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since B.B.King last CD (Live at St.Quentin) on ForeFront Records back in 1991, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s natural for B.B.King to take a stab at ‘Rock Me Baby’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. This is my first B.B.King Album and i must say i am blown away.
Sweet Sixteen - arguably the best track on Live at St.Quentin album. The song feels complete. Once Peace To The World gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The Thrill Is Gone on Live at St.Quentin is solid and easy to listen to. Ain’t Nobody’s Bizness - This one is lively and fun. Nice and different song. Never Make A Move Too Soon have really caught my ear and imagination. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Live at St.Quentin. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Every Day I Have The Blues is the first taste of the new album. Music and lyrics of B.B. King Intro creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. After few listenings I started to like Let The Good Times Roll more and more.
