After debuting at No. 1 last week, Beastie Boys’s album Licensed to Ill falls to No. 2 with 566,000, a sales slide of 83%. While no new Beastie Boys album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1986 tour in Asia. This disc has all of the essential Beastie Boys classics. This album is a scorcher!
I like to sing along with The New Style, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. The sound of She’s Crafty is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I love the melodic melody of Posse In Effect and to this day it makes me feel good. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Girls one of the best in my collection. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This song stands out greatly from the others. Voice of Beastie Boys in Paul Revere is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Hold It Now, Hit It is one of my favorite songs by Beastie Boys. I was truly moved when I heard Brass Monkey. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Time To Get Ill is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
