Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Beethoven, Ludwig Van on ‘01 - Allegro ma non troppo’. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Beethoven, Ludwig Van energies, virtually a rebirth. Since completing 1989’s ‘01 - Allegro ma non troppo’, Beethoven, Ludwig Van fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Sonata No.20 in G major Op.49.
After few listenings I started to like 02 - Tempo di Menuetto more and more.
