I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Stamping Ground’ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Bill Bruford’s Earthworks energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the first studio album from Bill Bruford’s Earthworks since bad diagnosis in 1992. One of Bill Bruford’s Earthworks’s best albums yet.
Up North is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Bill Bruford’s Earthworks released so far. Bill Bruford’s Earthworks rocks harder than ever with A Stone’s Throw. Pilgrim’s Way is cool and different song. Emotional Shirt is a medium tempo tune. It Needn’t End In Tears the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. All Heaven Broke Loose is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Candle Still Flicker In Romania’s Dark (6:45) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Bridge Of Inhibition - I just love it.
