Since Blaine L. Reininger last CD (Songs From The Rain Palace) on Mute Records back in 1990, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1990’s ‘01 My Tv’, Blaine L. Reininger fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Lead single “01 My Tv” and “02 Song For Jj” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
02 Song For Jj - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. After few listenings I started to like 04 Justice more and more. Zeb And Lulu is almost impossible to review. Between K-Mart And Paradise - This one makes me want to not only sing along. 07 Voice Of The Hive is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Europe After The Rains - Winter In Wien is one of the more up-tempo songs on Songs From The Rain Palace. Europe After The Rains - La Tombee De La Nuit - A classic Blaine L. Reininger track. Music in Europe After The Rains - Pere Lachaise is exquisite as in all tracks of Songs From The Rain Palace. 11 Spaziergang very upbeat.
