There is so much to love about Blas Duran, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “Conejo de la Vecina” and “Muneco” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On the Slovakia charts, superstar Blas Duran’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Bachata Pueblo is not something you should pass up.
Muneco is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Potpurri is really the reason why I recommend buying Bachata Pueblo. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Teclas de Piano. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Yo Ya Estoy Bronco (4:50) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Viero Anoche on Bachata Pueblo is solid and easy to listen to. Rica Pobre is simply gorgeous. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
