Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Blue Cheer on ‘Nightmares’. This nine-song debut EP shows the promise that Blue Cheer has. On the China charts, superstar Blue Cheer’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is what good Rock: Electronic should be.
There is marvelous mix of music in Summertime Blues. The Beast Is Back - The Megaforce Years couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Ride With Me. Nice and different song. Babylon pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Heart Of The City - My least favorite song on this album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Blue Cheer’s vocal abilities. Still going through The Beast Is Back - The Megaforce Years and coming to appreciate Parchment Farm more and more with every listen.
