This album has some very good songs like Movin’ On and As It Happens. John Digester has compared writing for Bob James and Earl Klugh’s new album to that on ‘Cool’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Bob James and Earl Klugh has. Another great offering from Bob James and Earl Klugh.
As It Happens is a fine track on any terms. So Much In Common is exquisite song though, very addictive. Figitive Life as a highlight of Cool contains a ton of astounding melodies. The Night That Love Came Back motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Cool is Secret Wishes. New York Samba - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Handara - arguably the best track on Cool album. The Sponge is a gorgeous, simple song by Bob James and Earl Klugh at the top of his game. In Terpsichore you won’t find any flashy solos. San Diego Stomp is amazing and different song. Miniature is one of my favorite songs by Bob James and Earl Klugh.
