IF YOU LIKE ALL Buddy Guy’S SONG GO FOR IT! Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Buddy Guy’s new album to that on ‘Ohne Filter’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ohne Filter’ really is amazing. Buddy Guy “Ohne Filter” is an amazing album.
Damn Right, I’ve Got The Blues is just simply stunning. Mary Had A Little Lamb is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Everything Gonna Be Alright, which shows, blatantly, how much Buddy Guy has evolved as a singer. The Things (That) I Used To Do great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I have all of Buddy Guy’s tracks and There Is Something On Your Mind is probably the most his introspective effort. The opening track Untitled is very much like you would expect from other albums.
