After debuting at No. 1 last week, Chic’s album Chic-Ism falls to No. 2 with 544,000, a sales slide of 98%. There is so much to love about Chic, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is one of the best Cd’s Chic has dropped to date. This is my first Chic Album and i must say i am blown away.
Your Love is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Jusagroove - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Doin’ That Thing To Me is a song to enjoy for years to come. Chicism is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. In It To Win It catches attention immediately, My Love’s For Real is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Take My Love sets the tone for the entire album. High is pretty funky and mellow. M.M.F.T.C.F. makes a person feel amazing. You can find feelings on this piece of art.
