When you buy a Chic album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Chic on ‘Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)’. Chic’s debut, ‘Dance, Dance, Dance: The Best Of’, does not fit easily into one genre. Exciting stuff.
When I listen to Strike Up The Band in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Chic Cheer the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Le Freak is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. I Want Your Love one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. My Feet Keep Dancing - arguably the best track on Dance, Dance, Dance: The Best Of album. My Forbidden Lover - A strong beat. Soup For One is probably one of Chic’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Savoir Faire - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
