Best song on the album, love it. Oh! Red - A strong beat. Fare Thee Honey, Fare Thee Well-1st Take is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. I believe Fare Thee Honey, Fare Thee Well-2nd Take is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Dupree Blues is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Once you hear When The Sun Goes Down-1st Take, you will listen to it over and over. Still going through Complete Decca Recordings - 1937 (CD 3) and coming to appreciate When The Sun Goes Down-2nd Take more and more with every listen. Red Wagon is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. You Can Depend On Me on Complete Decca Recordings - 1937 (CD 3) is solid and easy to listen to. Cherokee-Part 1 - To me, this is the best song on the Complete Decca Recordings - 1937 (CD 3). From the moment you listen to Cherokee-Part 2 you’re hooked. Blame It On My Last Affair-1st Take - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I think Blame It On My Last Affair-2nd Take is the best song Count Basie has ever done. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Thursday (3:06) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Oh Lady Be Good is simple, dignified and effective, Count Basie refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
