Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Das Ich on ‘Gottes Tod’. Das Ich had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Das Ich was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Das Ich and Satanische Verse together. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Das Ich sings his heart out in Des Satans Neue Kleider. Kain Und Abel is one of the more up-tempo songs on Satanische Verse. Jericho is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Das Ich ever produced. Ein Tag Vergeht which is my favorite is a truly Das Ich sounding song. All of songs on Satanische Verse and have something to say letting alone Irrlicht. Das Ich offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
