‘The World That Summer’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. three years ago, Death In June briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hidden Among The Leaves”. It has been three years Death In June’ last studio CD, “The World That Summer” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Death In June ever.
Hidden Among The Leaves is one of the coolest songs Death In June has ever recorded. Torture Bu Roses is gorgeous song though, very addictive. Come Before Christ and Murder Love - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. The song Rule Again ending is my favorite… so catchy! Break The Black Ice rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Rocking Horse Night is gorgeous work of Death In June. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Death Of A Man is really the reason why I recommend buying The World That Summer. Reprise #1 is excellent and different song. Reprise #2 is another strong production from Death In June. Reprise #3 - This one is lively and fun.
