There is so much to love about Die Fantastischen Vier, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It’s natural for Die Fantastischen Vier to take a stab at ‘Jaaa’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. Since Die Fantastischen Vier last CD (4 Gewinnt) on Sparrow Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. Exciting stuff.
This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Thomas Und Die Fraun is a very catchy tune. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Nice and different song. In Plattenspieler you won’t find any flashy solos. All of songs on 4 Gewinnt and have something to say letting alone Nenn Ihn Prdent. Es Wird Regen Geben is just simply stunning. Einen Noch is a good listen every once in a while. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Dicker Pulli - A strong beat. Die Fantastischen Vier sings Arschloch in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Blew our minds when we first heard Individuell Aber Schnell. Reich still maintains something of a specific flourish. After about the third Vier Gewinnt listen through, I began to believe this song is Die Fantastischen Vier’s essence. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on 4 Gewinnt is Die Da!?!. HEuch Den Hier An has a fun tempo. Saft is nothing but pure genius.
