Since Disharmonic Orchestra last CD (Expositiotisprophylaxe) on Mute Records back in 1990, I have felt a massive void in my life. For older fans Expositiotisprophylaxe will put a massive smile accross your face. On Expositiotisprophylaxe album, Disharmonic Orchestra have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. To me Disharmonic Orchestra is the best band ever.
Inexorable Logic is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Disharmonic Orchestra breathes new life into the music in Life Disintegrating. Sick Dishonourableness on Expositiotisprophylaxe is solid and easy to listen to. Successive Substitution is probably one of Disharmonic Orchestra’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Accelerated Evolution is pretty funky and mellow. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Quintessentially Unnecessary Institution is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. First time I heard Hypophysis was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Disappeared With Hermaphrodite Choirs as a highlight of Expositiotisprophylaxe contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. Disharmonisation - A catchy, upbeat tune. The Unequalled Visual Response Mechanism is a great opener for Expositiotisprophylaxe. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Onset of Serious Problems. Dehumanoid is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Disharmonic Orchestra released so far. I love the melodic melody of Interposition and to this day it makes me feel good. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
