Djivan Gasparian’s debut, ‘I Will Not Be In This World’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “A Cool Wind To Blowing” and “Brother Hunter” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Djivan Gasparian was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Djivan Gasparian and I Will Not Be In This World together. IT makes me wanna dance!
Brother Hunter as a highlight of I Will Not Be In This World contains a ton of astounding melodies. Look Here, My Dear presents the exquisite mix of instruments on I Will Not Be In This World. I Will Not Be Sad In This World had me crying as I was able to relate so well. It’s such an underrated song. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Your Strong Mind. If you are a Djivan Gasparian fan, you will love The Ploughman. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
