IF YOU LIKE ALL Enigma’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is the first studio album from Enigma since bad diagnosis in 1991. Since completing 1991’s ‘The Voice Of Enigma’, Enigma fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. 1991 Mcmxc (Limited Edition) is the best essence of Enigma.
Although Sadeness is very melodic it is far from sad. Find Love is a very catchy tune. Sadeness (Part II) is exquisite song though, very addictive. If you are a Enigma fan, you will love Callas Went Away. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Mea Culpa. The Voice And The Snake is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. This track is clearly meant to showcase Enigma’s vocal abilities. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Enigma offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The Rivers Of Believe is the song that really did it for me. The song Sadeness (Meditation) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Mea Culpa (Fading Shades) is the albums biggest surprise. Musically Principles Of Lust is superior to other tracks in 1991 Mcmxc (Limited Edition). Best song on the album, love it.
