Since completing 1991’s ‘Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive’, Ennio Morricone fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. When you buy a Ennio Morricone album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I am not a real Instrumental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Bugsy’ really is amazing. I wish that “Bugsy” album was instrumental.
For Her, For Him - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Act Of Faith is a very catchy tune. The Die Is Cast is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. When listening to That Night In Las Vegas, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. United is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I like to sing along with Bugsy’s Arrest, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. In Cuba is a amazing sing-along. The opening track Why Don’t You Do Right (Get Me Some Money Too!) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Candy is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Nice and different song. One listen to the sheer beauty of On Sale was all I needed. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Although Desert Mirage is very melodic it is far from sad. There is cool mix of music in On A Street, At Night. More Money - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Bugsy’s Death is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Virginia Waits rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Get Bugsy and turn on Neurotic Love if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Bugsy is Long Ago And Far Away.
