This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that EPMD has. John Digester has compared writing for EPMD’s new album to that on ‘Unfinished Business’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is so much to love about EPMD, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If I may, I suggest “So Wat Cha Sayin’”. That one song is amazing!
Total Kaos is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Unfinished Business. You Had Too Much To Drink has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The Big Payback is outstanding work of EPMD. Strictly Snappin’ Necks is a bit of a show-tune. Knick Knack Patty Wack - A nice song. Overall a nice softer song. Who’s Booty - I like this one. Get The Bozak still maintains something of a specific flourish. Music in Jane II is marvelous as in all tracks of Unfinished Business. Please Listen To My Demo - This is a very lively song.
