There is so much to love about Fred Hersch, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Dancing in the Dark’ really is amazing. Dancing in the Dark is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. I Fall in Love Too Easily has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Dancing in the Dark is astounding and different song. What sets Out of Nowhere apart is Fred Hersch’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Secret Love good vocals. Wild Is the Wind is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Music in All the Things You Are is astounding as in all tracks of Dancing in the Dark. Charming song, great melody. Bye Bye Blackbird still maintains something of a specific flourish.
