Self-described as R&B: Soul with lots of words, George Benson and Earl Klugh comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, George Benson and Earl Klugh’s album Collaboration falls to No. 2 with 775,000, a sales slide of 71%. George Benson and Earl Klugh was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from George Benson and Earl Klugh and Collaboration together. This album is in perfect progression from George Benson and Earl Klugh!
This song stands out greatly from the others. Brazilian Stomp was the first single release from the album Collaboration. Dreamin’ good vocals. One listen to the sheer beauty of Since You’re Gone was all I needed. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Jamaica is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Some of the arrangements found on Collaboration are surprisingly edgy.
