Lead single “Viktoria” and “Gi Auto Krypsou” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, George Dalaras’s album Sto Attikon (Live) CD 1 falls to No. 2 with 140,000, a sales slide of 51%. When you buy a George Dalaras album, you know exactly what you’re getting! George Dalaras is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Voice of George Dalaras in Gi Auto Krypsou is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Mpalanta Gia Ton Gianni is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Fobamai is really the reason why I recommend buying Sto Attikon (Live) CD 1. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Sto Attikon (Live) CD 1. Ellas is possibly the best song George Dalaras has come up. I listened to the opening track Xairetismata and liked it a lot. I like Mia fisarmonika pou klaiei because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Sto Attikon (Live) CD 1. In To Pollaplo Sou Eidolo full palet of sound is used by George Dalaras to accentuate the presentation. Dui-Dui is a medium tempo tune. Lil is a very catchy tune. To Karavani is the song that really did it for me. Music and lyrics of Kali Tixi creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Still going through Sto Attikon (Live) CD 1 and coming to appreciate O Manwlhs more and more with every listen.
