This disc has all of the essential Gipsy Kings classics. While no new Gipsy Kings album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1992 tour in South America. Since Gipsy Kings last CD (Gipsy Kings Live) on Sparrow Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is in perfect progression from Gipsy Kings!
Musically Allegria is superior to other tracks in Gipsy Kings Live. A great put together song. Best song on the album, love it. Bem Bem Maria is the funkiest number on the album. Some call Trista Pena from Gipsy Kings Live as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Odeon very upbeat. Sin Ella as a highlight of Gipsy Kings Live contains a ton of cool melodies. Quiero Saber - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This song may be the most meaningful. This track is full of harmonies and gets Gipsy Kings Live off to a relaxing start. Galaxia is cool work of Gipsy Kings. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I think Tu Quieres Volver is the best song Gipsy Kings has ever done. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Oh Mai is my favorite song on Gipsy Kings Live. Djobi Djoba presents the perfect mix of instruments on Gipsy Kings Live. Bamboleo defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
