It’s natural for Glenn Branca to take a stab at ‘First Movement - Slow Mass’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Glenn Branca’s album Symphony No. 2 (The Peak Of The Sacred) falls to No. 2 with 171,000, a sales slide of 75%. Symphony No. 2 (The Peak Of The Sacred) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Glenn Branca ever.
Second Movement - Radioactive Poltergeist Kitchen 1955 is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This is one hell of a track. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Fourth Movement - Sacred Field is my favorite song on Symphony No. 2 (The Peak Of The Sacred). Fifth Movement - In The Late 20Th Century The Impossible Becomes Possible - My least favorite song on this album.
