IF YOU LIKE ALL Hannes Wader’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since Hannes Wader last CD (Schon So Lang) on SixSteps records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lead single “Lied vom kleinen Mhen” and “Heute hier, morgen dort” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Exciting stuff.
I loved Heute hier, morgen dort the first time I heard it. Charley is outstanding work of Hannes Wader. Hannes Wader sings his heart out in Unterwegs nach S. Kokain - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Arschkriecher-Ballade - I like this one. After few listenings I started to like Der Rattenfer more and more. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Music of Rosen im Dezember is gentle, never overbearing. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Nach Hamburg one of the best in my collection. Schst die Jugend is the more seemingly obscure song on Schon So Lang that bear up best to repeated listening. Der Tankerk is nothing but pure genius.
