Helmet’s debut, ‘Meantime’, does not fit easily into one genre. While no new Helmet album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1992 tour in Australia. Now signed to Helmet’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Meantime” leads Helmet’s back-to-school campaign. This album is a scorcher!
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Ironhead. Give It is a excellent song and it grows on you. From the moment you listen to Unsung you’re hooked. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. He Feels Bad is possibly the best song Helmet has come up. Better is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. I find myself hearing bits of You Borrowed here and there throughout my waking hours. Best song on the album, love it. Role Model the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
