Smokestack Lightning is nothing but pure genius. Excellent vocals and musical performances. I came to like Howlin’ Wolf Talks #3. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. The song feels complete. Who’s Been Talkin’? (2:24) a good melody. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. When I listen to Sittin’ On Top Of The World in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. The song I Didn’t Know ending is my favorite… so catchy! Moanin’ For My Baby makes a person feel gorgeous. Change My Way catches attention immediately, I Better Go Now is one of the best records ever. Howlin’ For My Darling is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. I’ve Been Abused very upbeat. Mr. Airplane Man (Alt. Take) - a classic song. So much energy, so exciting a sound.A unique and uplifting song. Howlin’ Wolf Talks #4 one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Howlin’ Wolf sings his heart out in Spoonful. In Down In The Bottom the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Shake For Me is Howlin’ Wolf’s best work in years. The Red Rooster as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. You’ll Be Mine is a strong cut, one of many. Just Like I Treat You - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Voice and instruments in I Ain’t Superstitious complement each other. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
