Music in Pheonix Rising is perfect as in all tracks of Patriotic Ballads. Gone With The Breeze is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The Red Threat is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. This Land Is Ours - A classic Ian Stuart track. Stand By Your Own is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Ian Stuart released so far. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. In Suddenly Ian Stuart spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I like to sing along with White Blues, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Patriotic Ballads is Something To Believe. The Snow Fell is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
