It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of In The Nursery energies, virtually a rebirth. There were many famous songs of In The Nursery available. This is one of the best Cd’s In The Nursery has dropped to date. Blue Religion and A Rebours is really good.
In The Nursery sings A Rebours in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Boy Behind The Curtain is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Strong, powerful vocals of In The Nursery in Temporis are very impressive. I listened to the opening track Syntonic and liked it a lot. Some of the arrangements found on Sense are surprisingly edgy. No In The Nursery song has come close to capturing my attention as Epigraph did. Memoirs is another strong production from In The Nursery. Angelchrome is the first taste of the new album. Sinistral is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Sense Datum rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I find myself hearing bits of Contre-Coeur here and there throughout my waking hours.
