For older fans Deep Six will put a massive smile accross your face. This is the first studio album from Indie - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1985. Indie - Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Indie - Various Artists and Deep Six together. If I may, I suggest “10,000 Things (Green River)”. That one song is amazing!
Vocals of Indie - Various Artists in Scared (Melvins) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Throb (Skin Yard) is probably one of Indie - Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Song Heretic (Soundgarden) is actually a funny song. The sound of Tears To Forget (Soundgarden) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Stars-N-You (Malfunkshun) to me is the best you can get from Indie - Various Artists. Music in Grinding Process (Melvins) is gorgeous as in all tracks of Deep Six. She Waits (Melvins) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The Birds (Skin Yard) is probably the highlight of the album. All Your Lies (Soundgarden) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. They (U-Men) is so unique, as each one of the songs is.
