I am not a real Electronic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Live In New York-Back To The Earth’ really is amazing. Lead single “La Peri-Fanfare (Dukas)” and “3 Part Invention #2 In C Minor (Js Bach)02″ start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since completing 1988’s ‘La Peri-Fanfare (Dukas)’, Isao Tomita fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. One of Isao Tomita’s best albums yet.
3 Part Invention #2 In C Minor (Js Bach)02 is a very catchy tune. Song Also Sprach Zarathustra-Fanfare (R Strauss) is actually a funny song. The opening track Mars-The Bringer Of War (Holst) is very much like you would expect from other albums. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. I can’t stop playing Chinese War Lord Going Home (Traditional). In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Isao Tomita. Jupiter-The Bringer Of Jollity (Holst) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Goin’ Home (Symphony #9 - Dvorak) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.A unique and uplifting song.
