This track is clearly meant to showcase Iva Bittova’s vocal abilities. Plivam Z Plev Pyru (I Vomit Fluff From Chaff) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. I listened to the opening track Banjo and liked it a lot. Driv Nez (Before) is a great opener for Iva Bittova. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. From the moment you listen to Adventni (The Advent Song) you’re hooked. Viola is possibly the best song Iva Bittova has come up. China makes a person feel astounding. Ples Upiru (Dance Of The Vampires) make listening to Iva Bittova like being in some sort of time warp. The first time I listened to Vim Nevim (I Don’t Know) I was struck by its cool sound. I loved Proudem Mleka (In The Flow Of Milk) the first time I heard it. Iva Bittova couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track V Zemi Neorane (In The Barren Land). Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Jedna Sestra (One Sister) is my favorite song on Iva Bittova.
