Personalidade carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Ivan Lins. This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Ivan Lins has. This is my first Ivan Lins Album and i must say i am blown away.
Juntos is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Ivan Lins ever produced. A unique and uplifting song. Daquilo que eu sei is probably one of Ivan Lins’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Ivan Lins rocks harder than ever with Me deixa em paz. Bandeira do divino is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Depois dos temporais is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Sede dos marujos is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Novo tempo as a highlight of Personalidade contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Album opener Comesar de novo is a bright, upbeat ditty. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Dinorah Dinorah, which shows, blatantly, how much Ivan Lins has evolved as a singer. Music of Depende de nes is gentle, never overbearing. Vitoriosa is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Antes que seja tarde very upbeat.
