This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that J. J. Cale has. J. J. Cale had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It has been one years J. J. Cale’ last studio CD, “Number 10″ which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is my first J. J. Cale Album and i must say i am blown away.
Digital Blues (3:32) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Feeling In Love is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Some call Artifical Paradise from Number 10 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Passion is a strong cut, one of many. This is one hell of a track. Jailer is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Traces defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. She’s In Love the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Shady Grove is nothing but pure genius. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Roll On Mama.
