There were many famous songs of James Brown available. After seeing Introduction/Opening Fanfare, I had to have a good James Brown cd. After debuting at No. 1 last week, James Brown’s album Live at the Apollo 1962 falls to No. 2 with 666,000, a sales slide of 78%. Live at the Apollo 1962 is not something you should pass up.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Live at the Apollo 1962 is I’ll Go Crazy. In Try Me the music gets its power. Instrumental Bridge is one of these floating songs. It’s such an underrated song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. I Don’t Mind - A nice song. Music and lyrics of Instrumental Bridge creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Lost Someone to me is the best you can get from James Brown. Medley: Please, Please, Please/You’ve Got The Power/I Found Someone/Why DO You Do ME Like You Do… is perfect. Night Train/Closing is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
