James J.T. Taylor’s debut, ‘Master of the Game’, does not fit easily into one genre. Now signed to James J.T. Taylor’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Master of the Game” leads James J.T. Taylor’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of James J.T. Taylor energies, virtually a rebirth. To me James J.T. Taylor is the best band ever.
8 Days a Week is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Master of the Game have ended. House That Jack Built motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Master of the Game. Kiss My Face is one of the more up-tempo songs on Master of the Game. Lay Awake at Night is another favourite of mine. Girl You’re Mine Now still maintains something of a specific flourish. I can’t stop humming along Romancia. Promised Land - James Taylor is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes.
