Jane’s Addiction had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. nine years ago, Jane’s Addiction briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Ocean Size”. Nothing’s Shocking is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
It’s such an underrated song. Had A Dad makes a person feel astounding. Ted, Just Admit It the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The sound of Standing In The Shower Thinking is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Summertime Rolls is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Mountain Song make listening to Jane’s Addiction like being in some sort of time warp. Idiots Rule is the most memorable and excellent. Jane Says is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I like to sing along with Thank You Boys, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I like Pigs In Zen because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
