Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jaroslaw Smietana on ‘Crazy folk song’. ‘From one to four’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is so much to love about Jaroslaw Smietana, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Simple and heartfelt closing track Ornithology closes From one to four on a high note. Overall a nice softer song. Two coloured girl is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. One listen to the sheer beauty of Tangerine was all I needed. From one to four couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Scandinavian song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Conno stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on From one to four. Slow taste is really the reason why I recommend buying From one to four. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in From one to four.
