On The Gift of Time album, Jean-Luc Ponty have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is one of the best Cd’s Jean-Luc Ponty has dropped to date. One of Jean-Luc Ponty’s best albums yet.
New Resolutions is probably the highlight of the album. Faith In You can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Jean-Luc Ponty is all about. This song stands out greatly from the others. Between Sea and Sky catches attention immediately, Metamorphosis is the albums biggest surprise. Introspective Perceptions is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Gift Of Time is a striking and quite long song.
