This is the first studio album from Jean-Marc Zelwer since bad diagnosis in 1990. This album has some very good songs like Foire A Kamenka and J’ai Vu Un Ange. ‘La FiancG©e Aux Yeux De Bois’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is J’ai Vu Un Ange
J’ai Vu Un Ange - To me, this is the best song on the La FiancG©e Aux Yeux De Bois. In Le Reve De La FiancG©e full palet of sound is used by Jean-Marc Zelwer to accentuate the presentation. Les Montreus D’ours Sont Partis is probably the highlight of the album. Grand-PGEre Klonimus is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Le Soldat Tufaiev Se Marie catches attention immediately, This track is clearly meant to showcase Jean-Marc Zelwer’s vocal abilities. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Igo-L’?nnocent-Mort-En-Poche. The opening track Dikanka (Le Soupirant) is very much like you would expect from other albums. In Le Tourment De Vassilissa-La-Belle the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. “Repose-Toi Un Moment” is really a nice song to relax and listen too.
