This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Jean Michel Jarre has. Jean Michel Jarre’s debut, ‘Revolutions’, does not fit easily into one genre. Jean Michel Jarre was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jean Michel Jarre and Revolutions together. If I may, I suggest “Industrial Revolution”. That one song is amazing!
Ouverture Part 1 is a bit of a show-tune. Ouverture Part 2 is worth the money. Ouverture Part 3 which is my favorite is a truly Jean Michel Jarre sounding song. London Kid is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Jean Michel Jarre ever produced. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Tokyo Kid has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Computer Weekend stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Blew our minds when we first heard September. The Emigrant - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love.
