For older fans Timbral Planes will put a massive smile accross your face. Timbral Planes carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Since completing 1988’s ‘Timbral Planes’, Jeff Greinke fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Timbral Planes touched my soul like nothing else.
Slow Fall very upbeat. Rift - A strong beat. A Splash And Thunder - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Best song on the album, love it. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Timbral Planes. Simple and heartfelt closing track In Cages closes Timbral Planes on a high note. Don’t judge River’s Edge on the first listening. I listened to the opening track Upon Reflection and liked it a lot. Mirrors was the first single release from the album Timbral Planes. Difficult Words is a very catchy tune. Cloud Swell one of the best in my collection.
