Pearlie Mae have really caught my ear and imagination. When Papa Played The Dobro is the most memorable and exquisite. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Slide Rule. I Don’t Believe You’ve Met My Baby - This is a very lively song. The sound in Shoulder To Shoulder is really warm and Jerry Douglas’s signature voice is still very much present. Uncle Sam gets you up and jumping. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Rain On Oliviatown is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Hey Joe is one of the best records ever. A New Day Medley is pretty funky and mellow. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity.
