Joao Gilberto’s debut, ‘Bossa Nova Jubileu Vol. 2′, does not fit easily into one genre. Joao Gilberto has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. aos pes da cruz - My least favorite song on this album. Overall a nice softer song. um abraco no bonfa is worth the money. In morena boca de ouro it becomes nowhere more obvious that Joao Gilberto has yet to define own style. This track is a great song that still never gets old. o amor em paz is the funkiest number on the album. trevo de 4 folhas is another strong production from Joao Gilberto. samba da minha terra is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. From the moment you listen to outra vez you’re hooked. saudae da bahia is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. meditacao - Check out that bassline! In saudade fez um samba full palet of sound is used by Joao Gilberto to accentuate the presentation. I think voce e eu is the best song Joao Gilberto has ever done. coisa mais linda is a very catchy tune. o nosso amor on Bossa Nova Jubileu Vol. 2 is solid and easy to listen to.
